Resposibilities

As the Director of Product & Technology, you will be a key leader in the organisation, tasked with a dual role that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing combined leadership for both the product and engineering teams.

  • Translating business objectives and user needs into a long-term product and technical strategy.

  • Overseeing and driving the product roadmap, including feature development, release planning, and priority setting.

  • Staying hands-on with the code, contributing to feature development, and performing regular code reviews to maintain high quality.

  • Championing engineering best practices in code quality, automated testing, and DevOps.

  • Experimenting with and implementing AI productivity tools to enhance team efficiency and innovation.

  • Acting as a crucial link between business goals, customer needs, and technical implementation, ensuring alignment and seamless execution.

Requirments

We are looking for a high-agency leader with a proven track record of success in a high-growth SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in a leadership role, managing both product and engineering teams.

  • A strong technical background with solid expertise in TypeScript, including full-stack development (Node.js for the backend and React for the frontend).

  • Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, make quick and decisive decisions, and drive projects to successful outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to understand high-level vision and dive into technical details.

  • A self-motivated, focused, and passionate approach to building impactful products.

  • Experience with modern development practices and tools such as Next.js, Jest, AWS Infrastructure as Code, and GitHub Actions.

  • Familiarity with AI development tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot is a plus.
