Our Client is a premier SAP Partner and a recognised market leader in Saudi Arabia, renowned for delivering top-tier digital transformation projects. As a key player in the region with profound expertise in the SAP ecosystem, the company serves as a strategic partner to over 500 entities, including major Saudi governmental organisations and multinational corporations. Their Digital Solutions division is at the forefront of innovation, combining robust SAP capabilities with advanced technologies. They are currently expanding their team and seeking an expert who will drive the modernisation of procurement processes, acting as a trusted business advisor to key clients undergoing complex digital transformations.
Resposibilities
Drive Digital Procurement Transformation: Lead high-impact procurement transformation projects for key local and international clients, moving beyond technical implementation to act as a strategic advisor on Source-to-Pay (S2P) best practices.
End-to-End Project Delivery: Independently manage project streams or oversee full-cycle SAP Ariba implementations, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Analysis & Workshops: Conduct "Fit-to-Standard" workshops with client stakeholders, gathering business requirements and effectively mapping them to SAP Ariba functionalities.
Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive procurement solutions, ensuring seamless integration between SAP Ariba and backend ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA or ECC) using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) or other middleware.
Configuration & Testing: Perform advanced configuration of Ariba Upstream and/or Downstream modules, prepare detailed test scenarios, and supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Mentoring: Provide technical guidance, best practice sharing, and support for the professional development of Junior and Mid-level consultants within the team.
Presales Support: actively participate in the business development process by preparing technical proposals, conducting system demonstrations for prospective clients, and estimating project effort.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., CPOs, Procurement Managers, IT Directors) to ensure client satisfaction and adoption.
Requirments
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, preferably within a consulting or partner environment.
Module Expertise: Deep expertise in SAP Ariba Upstream (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP) and/or SAP Ariba Downstream (Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying). Knowledge of Ariba Network features is essential.
Certifications: Valid SAP Ariba certifications (Associate or Professional level) are required.
Language Skills: Fluent English (C1 level) is mandatory for effective communication in an international setting. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant asset.
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of procurement processes (Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay) and supply chain management principles.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent presentation abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under time pressure.
Preferred Skills (Nice to have):
Experience with SAP CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) and integration setup.
Functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) in S/4HANA.
Experience in Team Leadership or Project Management.
