Our Client is a premier SAP Partner and a recognised market leader in Saudi Arabia, renowned for delivering top-tier digital transformation projects. As a key player in the region with profound expertise in the SAP ecosystem, the company serves as a strategic partner to over 500 entities, including major Saudi governmental organisations and multinational corporations. Their Digital Solutions division is at the forefront of innovation, combining robust SAP capabilities with advanced technologies. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Technology Consultant to lead complex infrastructure projects and act as a trusted technical advisor to IT Directors and CIOs regarding system landscape strategies.
Resposibilities
Drive Technical Transformation: Lead complex technical projects including S/4HANA conversions, OS/DB migrations, and cloud shifts (RISE with SAP/Hyperscalers), acting as the lead architect for the client’s infrastructure strategy.
End-to-End Project Delivery: Independently manage technical streams in implementation projects, overseeing installations, upgrades, and system integrations from planning to go-live.
Landscape Architecture: Design scalable, high-availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for critical SAP landscapes, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Sizing & Planning: Conduct technical workshops and sizing exercises (Quick Sizer) to determine hardware and resource requirements for on-premise or cloud deployments.
Administration & Optimisation: Perform advanced administration tasks, including SAP HANA database management, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
Mentoring: Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and support for the professional development of Junior and Mid-level Basis consultants within the team.
Presales Support: Actively participate in the sales process by preparing technical architecture proposals, estimating hardware/effort requirements, and presenting infrastructure solutions to potential clients.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key client technical stakeholders (IT Managers, Infrastructure Heads).
Requirments
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and consulting, preferably within a partner environment.
Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA administration, SAP HANA database management, and SAP NetWeaver. Proficient knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux/Unix).
Cloud & Migration: Proven experience with system migrations (SUM/DMO) and knowledge of deploying SAP on public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Certifications: Valid SAP Technology certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration or SAP HANA) are required.
Language Skills: Fluent English (C1 level) is mandatory for effective communication in an international setting. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant asset.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and capacity to work under time pressure.
Preferred Skills (Nice to have):
Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) administration and SAP Solution Manager.
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) for SAP deployments.
Knowledge of SAP security concepts and authorisation.
Experience in Team Leadership.
