We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their team in a crucial project focusing on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). This role involves working on innovative solutions that enhance and extend core SAP functionalities, contributing directly to the digital evolution of their clients' business processes.
Resposibilities
As an SAP BTP Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
Designing and managing complex integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh) to connect SAP Cloud solutions (e.g., S/4HANA Cloud) with on-premise and third-party systems.
Developing Full-Stack applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry using SAP CAP, Fiori/SAPUI5, and backend technologies including Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and Groovy.
Implementing secure connectivity leveraging multiple communication protocols (HTTP, OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP) and ensuring strict adherence to security standards (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, SAP Cloud Identity Services).
Database design and modelling using SAP HANA as well as other enterprise-grade databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical specifications.
Ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and participation in code reviews, while maintaining continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirments
The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in Full-Stack development and deep expertise in the SAP ecosystem:
Strong Full-Stack proficiency: Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Groovy.
SAP BTP Mastery: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services, specifically SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP CAP.
Integration Expertise: Deep understanding of integrating SAP S/4HANA with hybrid landscapes using various protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP).
Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of authentication and security mechanisms (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, certificates).
Database Skills: Experience with data modelling in SAP HANA and familiarity with non-SAP databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Language: Fluent in English (essential for daily communication in an international team).
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving attitude, and a passion for innovation.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, SAP Kyma).
Interest or experience in SAP AI (Joule, Generative AI) or LLMs.
Experience with Low-code tools (SAP Build Apps).
