For our Client, a leading international pioneer in the field of premium indoor climate solutions and energy systems, we are seeking a strategic SAP Development Coordinator. Our Client is a family-run group with a strong global footprint, renowned for combining engineering tradition with future-oriented innovation in heating, cooling, and ventilation technology.
The company is currently driving a significant digital transformation, focusing on integrating IoT solutions and modernizing their manufacturing landscape. You will be joining an IT division that acts as a key enabler for their production and supply chain excellence. Resposibilities
Strategic Development Management: Orchestrate the entire software development lifecycle within a complex SAP landscape, with a specific focus on bridging high-level ERP strategies with practical shopfloor execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain) and technical teams, ensuring that SAP solutions effectively support industrial processes.
Quality & Standards: Define and enforce rigorous development standards and code quality metrics, ensuring a "Clean Core" approach while managing the transport landscape across international locations.
Vendor & Team Oversight: Manage capacity planning and deliverables for both internal developer teams and external technology partners to ensure on-time project completion.
Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement in ABAP and UI5/Fiori.
Innovation Driver: Lead initiatives to adopt emerging SAP technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, CDS Views) to future-proof the company’s digital infrastructure.
3rd Level Support: Serve as the final escalation point for critical technical issues, ensuring the stability and continuity of production-critical systems.
Requirments
Education: University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience: Several years of professional experience in SAP development, with a deep understanding of the intersection between IT and industrial business processes.
Module Knowledge: At least 3 years of in-depth experience in core logistics or manufacturing modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, CS) or related SAP technologies.
Management Skills: Proven track record in coordinating development teams, managing external vendors, and handling complex interface integrations.
Language Skills: Business fluent in German and English is mandatory, given the company's international headquarters and operations.
Personal Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a structured, solution-oriented working style suitable for a dynamic industrial environment.
