Our Client is a premier SAP Partner and a recognised market leader in Saudi Arabia, renowned for delivering top-tier digital transformation projects. As a key player in the region with profound expertise in the SAP ecosystem, the company serves as a strategic partner to over 500 entities, including major Saudi governmental organisations and multinational corporations. Their Digital Solutions division is at the forefront of innovation, combining robust SAP capabilities with advanced technologies. They are currently seeking an experienced consultant to drive financial transformation initiatives, acting as a trusted business advisor to CFOs and Finance Directors navigating complex system modernisations.
Resposibilities
Drive Financial Transformation: Lead complex financial transformation projects (S/4HANA Finance) for key local and international clients, providing strategic advice on accounting standards, controlling models, and financial best practices.
End-to-End Project Delivery: Independently manage project streams or oversee full-cycle SAP FICO implementations, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
Analysis & Workshops: Conduct "Fit-to-Standard" workshops with client finance teams, gathering business requirements and effectively mapping them to SAP S/4HANA functionalities.
Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive financial architectures, ensuring seamless integration between FI/CO and logistical modules (MM, SD, PP) as well as external systems (Banking interfaces, consolidation tools).
Configuration & Testing: Perform advanced configuration of Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and Controlling (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA). Prepare test scenarios and supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Mentoring: Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and support for the professional development of Junior and Mid-level consultants within the team.
Presales Support: Actively participate in the sales process by preparing technical proposals, conducting system demonstrations for prospective clients, and estimating project effort.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., CFOs, Chief Accountants, Financial Controllers).
Requirments
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO, preferably within a consulting or partner environment.
Module Expertise: Expert knowledge of SAP FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting) and SAP CO (Cost Centre Accounting, Profitability Analysis). Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is essential.
Certifications: Valid SAP certifications (SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting or Management Accounting) are required.
Language Skills: Fluent English (C1 level) is mandatory for effective communication in an international setting. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant asset.
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial closing processes, and management reporting.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent presentation abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under time pressure.
Preferred Skills (Nice to have):
Knowledge of SAP FSCM (Treasury, Credit Management) or Group Reporting.
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for planning/reporting.
Experience in Team Leadership.
